Lake George Islands State Campsites

There are three islands in the middle of Lake George on which New York State operates primitive campsites for anyone who can get out to them. You will need your own boat, and this is roughing it only. The campsites offer only picnic tables, tent sites, and fire pits. That's it!! Nevertheless, people love these campsites, and they are full most of the time, so plan ahead.
